Preparation in 4 steps

Rinse the papaya. Peel it and remove the seeds.

Place the papaya cut into pieces, olive oil, sugar, orange juice, lemon juice, ginger, garlic, chilli and salt. Mix until smooth.

Cook in a small saucepan for about 15 minutes. Set aside.

Place the chicken wings in saucepan. Cover with water and add a pinch of salt. Cook for 30 minutes or until well done.

Add enough oil to cover the bottom of a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the chicken wings each side until golden.

Place the finished chicken wings on a plate lined with a paper towel.

Pour the sauce over the chicken wings and serve.
